What we really love with the Anest Iwata W400 is its tulip inspired spray pattern that can elevate your spraying game. The price point for these guns are also one of its main selling points as the Iwata brand is known to be a key player in the spray gun industry.

The Anest Iwata W400 spray gun lays a clear coat with amazing precision.

There is however a fair amount of overspray compared to some hvlp guns but the finish can’t be beat.

They are seriously competing with our Satas and most of the time we noticed that we are reaching out more for the Iwata.

Retail Price: $250-400 depending on seller

What’s inside the box?

Spray gun, Manual, Cleaning brush

Aesthetics –  This gun will feel premium when held but aside from that – the Anest Iwata W400 is a handsome spray gun to look at. This is the gun that you can proudly take a snap and upload on socials and will drive engagement.

It just looks so good!

Affordability – The Anest Iwata W400 gun just works. It’s affordable and a certified Iwata technology. How can you go wrong?

Gets the job done – you can cover a large area with this gun, which translates to more completed projects in less time.

More paint usage- Because this gun covers huge areas, we discovered that it eats more paint compared to our Satas. Be ready to deal with a bit of overspray when using this gun.

Set up issues– you have to do a lot of trial and error when setting up the pressure for this gun as there is no gauge attached to it.

Not newbie friendly – Again, it takes a bit of practice for us to get used to it. But, if you are willing to spend time, then don’t let this discourage you from getting the Iwata W400.

Where To Buy: You can search ebay or Amazon to get to best deal depending on where you are located
